Kia ora, Hello and Welcome.

My name is Nickie Mackwood and I am an Early Years teacher and leader, in Aotearoa, New Zealand. 

Teaching is my calling.
With 18+ years experience, I hold a Bachelor/Degree in Teaching (Early Childhood Education) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (Early Childhood Education) with a Leadership focus.

I am a reflective teacher, committed to personal and professional growth. Over the years I have developed my values, beliefs and practice to become a passionate, heart centered and intentional teacher.

I enjoy working in partnership with teachers and parents, to motivate, inspire and to share knowledge and experience. It is empowerment, kindness and connection which guide my practice

I am blessed to live a mobile life, currently based in the beautiful Coromandel. I have spent years fostering a connection with my self and have learnt the true value of doing so, to become the best person and teacher I can be. I am passionate about fostering a connection with nature and have learnt by in doing so, we strengthen connections with our self and our children. Nature is therapy.
